Kimila is an Organizational Effectiveness and Human Resources consultant dedicated to helping organizations and individuals become more successful and find meaning in their work and life. She helps organizations leverage their greatest asset – people – by developing talent management strategies, solving organizational effectiveness challenges and building cultures that are engaging and inclusive. Through consulting, one-on-one leadership coaching and facilitating team workshops, Kimila has earned a reputation for building high-performing teams and results. Throughout her career, she has been sought after by organizations to bring credible, authentic, and trustworthy advisor skills to solve the most challenging workplace problems.
Kimila has degrees in Master of Science in Management and Organizational Development from Benedict University and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Greenville University. She believes people do their best work when they are personally connected to the purpose of the organization, and has a passion for making a difference in the community through servant leadership.
She is a Board Member of the University of Wisconsin Credit Union and the City of Madison Personnel Board. She is also a Board Member of the nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for Black girls by empowering them to let their natural gifts shine, Black Girl Magic Educational Services, and is a committee member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
